Vuori doesn’t offer a teacher discount, and it says so itself. Its discounts page states, “We don’t have a general student or teacher discount at the moment.” The brand does have a few real ways to save, though. New customers get 20% off a first order, people who teach fitness can apply for 40% off, and Fluz pays 15% back on Vuori gift cards.
Vuori makes premium performance apparel shaped by the active coastal California lifestyle, which it describes as an integration of fitness, surf, sport and art. The brand traces its creation to Encinitas, California. Vuori also stands behind what it sells with a guarantee it calls Investment in Happiness, which comes down to loving the product or sending it back. Standard shipping is free on orders over $75, and returns are free on eligible items.
How To Get The Vuori Teacher Discount
Since there’s no teacher program to apply for, the savings come from offers open to every shopper, plus one program that fits a particular kind of teacher. Here’s how each one works.
The first-order offer is the simplest. New customers get 20% off a first order just by signing up for Vuori’s email and texts. The new-customer page says to sign up for the newsletter to receive your discount code, so the code comes to you after you subscribe, and you can use it on that first purchase.
A referral is a second way to reach the same 20%. If a friend who already shops at Vuori sends you a referral, you get 20% off your first order of $150 or more, and once you buy, they earn 20% off theirs. The $150 minimum is the catch, so it suits a bigger order rather than a single tee.
The 40% offer belongs to the V1 Community Program, and it’s aimed at people who teach fitness of any kind, from yoga to strength. Members get 40% off full-priced items at Vuori stores and online. Fitness instructors must be teaching at least once a week to adults 18 or older, and you’ll need proof of your training certification and your class schedule ready when you apply. Vuori reviews applications within 20 business days. The discount is for your own use only, it can’t be used to buy gifts for others, and it carries a maximum savings allowance of $2,000. A classroom teacher doesn’t fit that description on the strength of the job alone, but a teacher who also leads a yoga or studio class for adults on the side might.
The cash back route runs through Fluz. When you buy a Vuori gift card through Fluz, you earn 15% back, and the $50 e-gift card is redeemable online only. Rakuten lists Vuori Clothing with no cash back, and TopCashback has no Vuori page, so Fluz was the only cash back route we found. Rates move, so check the percentage on the Fluz page before you buy. We haven’t confirmed how a Fluz gift card works alongside Vuori’s first-order code, so look at the checkout terms before you count on using both.
