The Body Shop doesn’t list a discount for teachers on its US pages, so the savings we could confirm are cash back. Rakuten shows 4% Cash Back at The Body Shop, and Fluz lists 1.5% cashback with a Fluz virtual card. The only page on The Body Shop’s US site that names teachers is a gift collection, not a discount.
If you’re buying body butter for the colleagues on your gift list, or restocking your own shelf after a long week, a few minutes of checking before you pay can earn a little back. Here’s what The Body Shop’s pages say, what each cash back site shows, and the one rule about promo codes worth knowing first.
How To Get The Body Shop Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount to claim at The Body Shop. We read its promotion terms page, home page and FAQs page on us.thebodyshop.com, and none of them uses the words teacher, educator or student. What the US site does have is a Gifts for Teachers collection, which says “Gift a little TLC to your much deserving teachers” and ends with “Thank you, teachers!” It suggests the Edelweiss Bouncy Jelly Mist and the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask for post-marking self-care. That’s a shelf of gift ideas, not a price cut.
Cash back is the route we’d use. Rakuten’s The Body Shop page shows 4% Cash Back, so check the number on the page the day you shop. It also says The Body Shop offers free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
One rule from that page matters if you like to hunt for codes. Rakuten says using coupon codes that are not listed on Rakuten may void Cash Back, and to be safe, stick to codes provided by Rakuten.
What Each Cash Back Source Says
Rakuten shows the higher number at 4%. Fluz’s The Body Shop page lists 1.5% cashback at The Body Shop with a Fluz virtual card. We didn’t find a TopCashback page for The Body Shop.
The Body Shop’s General Sales
The US promotion terms page keeps the terms for sales The Body Shop has run for every shopper. They include a Spend More, Save More Cyber Monday promotion with 20% sitewide and 30% off any purchase of product of $175 value or more, plus a 20% Off Classics promotion and a 20% Off Gift Sets promotion. The dates on that page belong to those sales, so it doesn’t tell us what’s planned for this season, and none of the sales is for teachers. The Cyber Monday terms say multiple promotions cannot be combined.
The Body Shop’s Other Site
The Body Shop’s separate site at thebodyshop.com has an offers page that lists “Enjoy 10% off* for student discount at The Body Shop all year round” and “15% off* for emergency services, NHS & armed forces.” Neither names teachers, and the NHS wording points to a UK offer, so we’re not counting either one for a US shopper.
About The Teacher Discount You May Have Heard Of
An earlier version of this post described teachers verifying with a school email address or an ID at The Body Shop’s stores and then getting an exclusive discount. We couldn’t find that on any Body Shop page we read, so we took it out.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We read The Body Shop’s US online pages, not a store’s policy, so we can’t say whether a store does anything for teachers at the register. We didn’t place an order, so we don’t know whether Rakuten’s 4% holds on the products in your bag, or whether it’s paid on an order that uses one of The Body Shop’s sales. The pages we read give no holiday terms for teachers.
