Patagonia doesn’t list a discount for teachers. The Pro Program page and the help articles on promo codes have no teacher or educator wording in them, so we aren’t going to tell you there’s a code to hunt for. What we did find is cash back: Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Patagonia with a Fluz virtual card.
If you’re picking up a fleece or a rain shell for a hiking weekend, here’s what Patagonia says about its discounts and what a promo code does and doesn’t cover.
How To Get The Patagonia Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount to claim here, and no verification step to go through, because Patagonia’s pages don’t describe one. Its Pro Program is a membership program for qualified outdoor professionals, environmental grant recipients and outdoor industry partners. The page also says Patagonia isn’t accepting Pro applications for additional categories at this time.
The route we can stand behind is cash back. Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Patagonia with a Fluz virtual card. The button below goes to Fluz.
What Patagonia Gives Every Shopper
The Pro page says you can still score great discounts by browsing Patagonia’s Web Specials or used gear on Worn Wear. Patagonia’s help center says it sends out promo codes via email from time to time, and that you can sign up for Patagonia Emails to get notifications on sales, events, product highlights, sport stories and environmental action alerts. Nothing in that article ties the codes to teachers.
A promo code has limits. Another help article says promo codes cannot be applied to Web Specials, sale items or items purchased under Team, Group, Corporate or Pro sales.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Patagonia with a Fluz virtual card. Rakuten has a Patagonia page, but the rate didn’t load the same way each time we looked, so we aren’t quoting one. Its page says cash back isn’t available on orders or trade-ins through the Worn Wear program, Patagonia Pro discounts, gift cards or orders paid for with a gift card. We didn’t find a TopCashback page for Patagonia. Rates change, so check the number on the page you click through to before you pay.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We read Patagonia’s online pages and didn’t call a store, so we can’t say what an individual store does at the register for someone showing a school ID. We also couldn’t confirm a current Rakuten rate, and we didn’t place an order, so we can’t tell you how the Fluz cashback is credited.
