Zeal Optics has a teacher program, and it’s one you reach through ID.me. Zeal’s own page lists teachers among the groups it verifies and gives them a Teacher Verification button, and ID.me’s page for Zeal lists 40% off for teachers. Zeal’s page doesn’t print the percentage, so the 40% comes from ID.me.
Zeal makes sunglasses and goggles, which puts this one squarely in a ski or snowboard shopping list. If you’re replacing goggles that fog up by the second run, set up the verification before you build your cart.
How To Get The Zeal Optics Teacher Discount
Start on Zeal’s Community Champions page. Zeal says it partnered with ID.me to create the program, and the page tells you to “click on your category below and follow the login instructions.” Pick the Teacher Verification button, sign in to your ID.me account or make one, and confirm that you’re a teacher.
ID.me also has a Zeal Optics page listing “40% off for US Teachers” and “40% off for Canadian Teachers.” Once you’re through verification, put what you want in the cart and check that the discount shows before you pay.
What The Program Covers
Zeal describes the program as access “to exclusive discounts on our sunglasses and goggles.” ID.me’s page links to Zeal’s goggles and sunglasses collections. Neither page lists what the discount leaves out, so if the pair you want is a new release or a collaboration, the product page and the cart are where you’ll find out.
Who Qualifies
Zeal’s page describes the program as a thank-you to “verified first responders, nurses, medical providers, hospital employees, government employees, active duty military members, veterans teachers and students.” Teachers are on that list, and the Teacher Verification button gives you your own path through it. The page doesn’t say whether college faculty or school staff outside the classroom count, so ID.me’s check is what settles it for you.
ID.me’s Zeal page also says “Enjoy free shipping on all orders.” That line sits on ID.me’s page and not Zeal’s, so look for shipping at checkout and don’t count on it until you see it in your cart.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Zeal’s program page still uses wording from an earlier period (“During these unprecedented times”), so treat the 40% as a number to confirm in your cart rather than a promise. We also couldn’t find limits on how often you can use it, a cap on spending, or whether it works with a sale price or a promo code. If your order is a large one, ask Zeal’s customer service before you check out.
