Volcom gives teachers 15% off select styles, and it says so on its own current offers page. “All teachers are entitled to 15% off their purchase,” the page reads, and you verify your identity at checkout to get a promo code. The page doesn’t name who does the verifying, so expect Volcom to walk you through it when you get there.
Volcom’s shop has a snow clothing section as well as its everyday apparel, which makes this a useful offer to set up before a ski or snowboard trip. A snow jacket is a bigger purchase than a tee, so check that the style you want is one of the “select styles” before you plan around the discount.
How To Get The Volcom Teacher Discount
Start on Volcom’s current offers page and find the Teacher Discount block. It says “Teachers can verify their identity and receive their promo code at checkout. Discount is applied automatically after verification.” In plain terms, there’s no code to hunt for ahead of time. Add what you want to your bag, begin checking out, and use the verification step there.
Before you pay, look at the order summary. The 15% should show on every eligible item, and anything it skipped is most likely outside the select styles.
What The Terms Say
Volcom lists these conditions under the offer: it applies to select styles, it’s valid for US and Canada customers purchasing directly from www.volcom.com, it excludes delivery charges, it isn’t eligible on previous purchases, it may not be combined with other offers and promotions unless otherwise stated, and Volcom can terminate or change it without notice.
Two of those matter most when you’re planning an order. “Not eligible on previous purchases” means you can’t claim the discount on an order you’ve already placed, so verify before you pay. And “directly from www.volcom.com” means a pair of snow pants bought from a retailer or a shop at the mountain isn’t covered.
Cash Back Before You Check Out
Rakuten’s page for Volcom shows 3% cash back as we write this, and you can start from Rakuten if you’d like to earn it. Volcom’s terms don’t mention cash back one way or the other, and the combining rule above is written about Volcom’s own offers and promotions. Rates change, so check the number on the page you click through to before you pay.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The page doesn’t say which service checks that you’re a teacher or what proof it accepts. It doesn’t list which styles count as select ones, so the only way to know is to try the item in your cart. It says “teachers” without saying whether college instructors, substitutes or school staff outside the classroom qualify, and it carries no date for the offer. ID.me’s page for Volcom says it isn’t aware of a teacher offer, so Volcom’s own page is the only source we have.
