Skechers gives verified teachers an additional 10% off at skechers.com, verified through ID.me. Its community discounts page calls it an “additional 10% off stackable discount on all promotions and offers to current students and teachers,” and the terms say it’s combinable with most promotions.
If you’re on your feet all day and a pair of shoes is on your list, the question is how this discount behaves next to a sale. The page answers most of that, and we’ve noted the spots where it doesn’t.
How To Get The Skechers Teacher Discount
The community discounts page says to verify your status with ID.me, and that Skechers will verify eligibility and offer an instant coupon code per purchase. So you verify, you get a code, and you use it at checkout. Because the code comes per purchase, expect to go through that step each time you order.
The page says the offer is valid in the U.S. only, including Puerto Rico.
Who Qualifies
The page defines teachers as classroom teachers, principals, school employees, college professors, and more. That list covers school staff beyond classroom teachers, and it ends with “and more,” so if your role isn’t named, check with ID.me before you plan around it.
How It Combines With Sales
The terms say the offer is valid on regular priced and sale or clearance styles at www.skechers.com, and that it’s combinable with most promotions. They also say it cannot be used with other stackable offers, so it’s one stackable discount on top of a promotion, not two of them layered together.
What The Discount Leaves Out
The terms say the offer isn’t valid at Skechers store locations or at other stores and websites carrying Skechers products, so it’s a skechers.com offer only. They also say it excludes select accessories, prior purchases, test styles, gift cards, applicable taxes, and shipping charges. Skechers reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without notice.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The page says the offer is combinable with most promotions and doesn’t name which ones aren’t, so we can’t promise it stacks with a specific sale event. It also doesn’t say which accessories count as select accessories, or what a test style is. We didn’t verify through ID.me or place an order, so we can’t say how long the instant coupon code lasts or what your cart shows after you apply it.
