iRobot doesn’t list a teacher discount on any of its own pages that we read. The only teacher offer we found is on ID.me, whose iRobot page lists “Up to 15% Off Select Robots for Teachers.” iRobot’s own discount pages name military members, first responders and nurses, so treat the teacher offer as listed but not confirmed.
If a Roomba or a Braava mop is on your holiday list, here’s what ID.me says, what iRobot’s own pages say and what we couldn’t check.
How To Get The iRobot Teacher Discount
ID.me’s page says iRobot has a Teachers discount and/or cash back offer, and that iRobot is one of the hundreds of retailers offering special savings for verified Teachers community members through ID.me Shop. The offer sits next to a Claim deal button. iRobot’s own pages don’t describe a teacher step, so we can’t tell you what happens after you click or what your cart shows.
We didn’t verify through ID.me or place an order. ID.me says up to 15% on select robots, so don’t count on 15% for every model, and check the price in your cart before you pay.
What iRobot’s Own Pages Say
iRobot’s footer lists a Military Discount, a First Responders Discount and a Nurses Discount, and no teacher or educator link. Its military discount page opens with “Welcome military members, first responders, and nurses!” and says to save up to 15% on select floor care robots, with the discount applied at checkout on Roomba robot vacuums and Braava jet robot mops. We found no teacher or educator wording on that page or on iRobot’s deals page.
That page’s fine print says its offer is valid on select robots and can’t be combined with any other offers, and it marks the offer as temporary. It’s written for military members, first responders and nurses, so we can’t say those terms apply to a teacher offer on ID.me.
A Sign-Up Offer
The footer of that same page says to sign up for 10% off your first purchase. We didn’t read its terms, so check what it covers and whether it combines with anything else before you use it.
Who Counts As A Teacher
ID.me’s page says verified Teachers community members, and neither ID.me’s page nor iRobot defines the word. We can’t say whether that includes K-12 teachers, college instructors, school staff or homeschool parents, so read ID.me’s verification screen before you start.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
iRobot’s pages don’t say whether it honors the ID.me teacher offer at checkout, which robots count as select, whether the offer combines with other discounts or when it ends. iRobot’s education site, edu.irobot.com, had no working address when we checked, so we couldn’t read it. If the teacher offer decides whether you buy, ask iRobot before you order.
