The San Diego County Fair offers food, fun, games and rides that the whole family will enjoy. Plus, organizers are offering discounted admission tickets, parking spots and public transit fares so everyone can make the summer party affordable!
Teachers and school staff members can gain admission for only $6 by visiting any San Diego County Albertsons or Vons grocery store and receiving a promotional code, which can then be used online when purchasing tickets. Children 12 years old or under can gain free entrance each day of the fair simply by reading (click this link for certificate printing). Military members (active duty, veterans, reservists, retirees and dependents) can purchase discounted admission tickets from base ticket offices or GovX at base ticket offices for just $17 — this ticket also includes roundtrip shuttle pass!
On June 7, college and university students can purchase discounted admission for $10 or purchase a ride package and concession vouchers for $26, representing savings of over $17 per student. Unemployed residents can save $4 off admission by showing their unemployment check stub or EDD debit card at the will-call window.
Fairgoers looking for alternative transportation can save $5 by pre-purchasing general parking online at the event website and selecting Torrey Pines High School as their parking destination, where shuttle buses will transport guests directly. Prepaid parking will only be valid on the date selected when purchasing tickets; the fair runs through July 4.
