Soylent offers discounts to teachers, and you claim yours by verifying through ID.me from Soylent’s discount page. Students, nurses, medical professionals, hospital employees, first responders, military members and veterans get the same program. Soylent doesn’t say how much teachers save, so the discount shows up after you verify, and your cart total is where you see it.
Soylent makes meal shakes you can drink standing at your desk, which matters on a day when lunch is whatever fits between the bell and your next class. See more food and drink discounts for teachers.
How To Get The Soylent Teacher Discount
- Open Soylent’s discount programs page. If you live in Canada, use the Canada link on that page.
- Click the link to head over to ID.me and begin the verification process.
- Enter the credentials ID.me asks for to verify who you are and where you work.
- Once you’re verified, shop on Soylent and look at the total before you pay.
What You Save
Once you’re verified, your discount applies to eligible purchases. Shop after ID.me sends you back and read the total before you pay. If the number isn’t what you expected, you haven’t paid anything yet.
What Soylent Sells
Soylent sells complete meal shakes and meal powder, along with protein, coffee and energy products. If you’re buying for the first time, a variety pack is a low-risk way to find the flavor you’ll actually finish. The shakes are meant to stand in for a meal, so they’re a better fit for the days your lunch period is shorter than the line in the microwave room.
Before You Order
Verify first, then fill your cart. Soylent doesn’t give a percentage, so a small first order is an easy way to see what your discount actually comes to before you stock up for a month of lunch periods. Keep your ID.me login handy in case you shop again.
Verifying With ID.me
The verification happens on ID.me, not on Soylent’s own site. You enter the credentials that show who you are and where you work, and ID.me confirms your status.
Who Qualifies
Teachers are on Soylent’s list, and Soylent doesn’t say whether that means K-12, college or both. ID.me handles the check, so start the verification and see whether your status goes through. Students, nurses, medical professionals, hospital employees, first responders, military members and veterans are on the same page.
