Hydro Flask doesn’t run a teacher coupon. It runs a Pro Deal program, and teachers are one of the groups it accepts: its page lists K-12 faculty and university faculty at schools in the US. The discount isn’t a fixed number. Hydro Flask says discounts off MSRP vary between individuals and professional groups, and are subject to change, so you won’t know your rate until you’re approved and logged in.
If the same bottle has been on your desk for years and you’ve got your eye on a new size or color, the Pro Deal is the program to apply to, and a few of its rules are worth knowing first.
How To Get The Hydro Flask Teacher Discount
Start on Hydro Flask’s Pro Deal page, which says Hydro Flask is proud to offer an exclusive in-house Pro Deal Program. Under Teachers, it lists K-12 faculty and university faculty, with the note that it covers US schools only. To join, you create your account on hydroflask.com and get verified through the application on that page.
Once you’re approved, you need to log in to your account before you shop, since that’s how Hydro Flask says you access Pro pricing. The page says the pricing shows on the product page and at checkout, so you don’t need a code. A Pro Deal account is valid for 1 year.
The Rules Of The Pro Deal
The page is plain about what the program is for. It says your Pro account is for you and meant to outfit you for the work that you do, so don’t buy gear for others. It says you must make all purchases, with exceptions if its Pro team approves them, and that it regularly checks Pro accounts and orders and may revoke the privilege if it sees abuse.
There are no returns on orders with Pro Deal purchases. Hydro Flask’s page says its products are still covered by its product guarantee, which is separate from returns, so this matters most if you aren’t sure about a size or color. The page also says not all products are eligible for the discount, so the price on a given item is the one to trust.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The rate. Hydro Flask doesn’t publish a percentage for teachers, and we didn’t apply, so we can’t say what you’d save. Because the page says discounts vary, we don’t print a number. We also couldn’t tell which documents the application asks for, or how long approval takes.
