Topgolf gives teachers 10% off game play, and you get it at the venue by showing a valid ID. The Topgolf discount page says active duty and veteran service members, first responders, healthcare workers and teachers all receive special discounts at Topgolf.
If you’re planning a night out with the staff or a weekend with your own family, it helps to know what the 10% covers before you book a bay. It applies to game play, and to game play and room rental for an event. The page lists several limits too, and we’ve laid them out below.
How To Get The Topgolf Teacher Discount
The page says to plan your visit and show a valid ID to your Bay Host when you arrive. If you booked one or two bays online, it says the discount applies to remaining game play only and not to the deposit, and that you should notify a team member in your bay for verification.
For an event, the order matters. The page says to notify your Event Sales Associate and provide a valid ID before you confirm the event, and that’s how the 10% gets applied to event game play and room rental. It also says the discount is “Not valid for online events and must be redeemed at the venue,” so sort it out with the venue’s staff before you pay.
What The 10% Covers
The page lists two things at 10% off: Game Play, and Event Game Play & Room Rental. Food and beverages aren’t included, since the page says the discount doesn’t apply to them. It adds that taxes, service fees, revenue minimums and blackout dates may apply, so a bay-and-burgers night gets the discount on the bay time and not on the menu.
You can’t stack it. The page says the discount can’t be used with any other coupon, offer or promotion, and that only one discount may be applied per group or bay. Two people sharing a bay, say a teacher and a nurse, still get one discount between them.
Locations Where It Works Differently
The page says the discount isn’t valid at Topgolf Swing Suite and Toptracer Range locations. Las Vegas has its own rate: teachers there with a valid Nevada ID receive 25% off Topgolf game play, and the page says the discount on events isn’t available in Las Vegas.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The page says “teachers” and stops there. It doesn’t say which grade levels or school types count, and it doesn’t mention retired teachers. It asks for a “valid ID” without saying which kind, so we can’t tell you whether a school badge will do or whether it has to be a government ID. Asking your venue before you go is the surest way to settle that.
The page also gives no end date for the program, and it doesn’t list the blackout dates it mentions, so ask the venue about the day you want. We didn’t read each venue’s own page, so hours and bay availability are theirs to tell you.
