Allbirds doesn’t list a teacher discount. Its Community Offers page has one offer, 15% off through GovX for Healthcare, Military or Government, and it never mentions teachers. What we could confirm is cash back: Fluz lists 6.5% on Allbirds e-gift cards.
If you’re on your feet all day and you’ve seen a roundup say Allbirds gives teachers 15%, here’s what Allbirds’ own page says, what an older SheerID release said, and the cash back that’s open.
How To Get The Allbirds Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher offer on Allbirds’ Community Offers page, so there’s nothing to verify as a teacher and no teacher code to enter. The page says Allbirds is proud to offer the following promotions to its community, and then lists one offer, headed “Healthcare, Military, or Government.” The page title also says Student, but the body we read has no student offer.
Here’s how that offer works, per the page. Once you enter your information and are successfully verified through GovX, you receive a single-use promo code you can use for 15% off your order. The fine print says the code can be used on Allbirds’ website in the US only, it’s limited to 1 code per year, and it can’t be combined with other codes.
Teachers aren’t named, so we’re not treating that as a teacher discount. The button below goes to Fluz, whose Allbirds page lists the cash back route we could confirm.
An Older Announcement
SheerID’s back-to-school press release lists Allbirds under teacher offers: “Teachers can enjoy 15% off their entire purchase including sale items at Allbirds.com.” That’s an older release from SheerID, not a page from Allbirds, and Allbirds’ current page doesn’t repeat it. We didn’t find a teacher offer on any Allbirds page we could read, so we’re not counting it as a current one.
Could Teachers Qualify Under Government?
Allbirds’ page says only “Government” and doesn’t say which jobs count. GovX’s who’s-eligible page has a group called Government Employees, described as all full-time employees at federal, state and local government agencies. Whether Allbirds uses that definition, and whether school district staff count, isn’t stated on any page we read.
GovX’s support article on verified groups also has a separate Education group, and says it includes teachers and administrators at both public and private K-12 schools and colleges/universities. Allbirds’ page doesn’t list Education.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz’s Allbirds page is titled “Allbirds gift cards with 6.5% cashback.” It says its e-gift cards are available from $20 to $250 and redeemable in-store and online. TopCashback has an Allbirds page titled “Allbirds Offers, Cash Back, Discounts & Coupons,” but we couldn’t read a rate on our copy of it. Rakuten’s address for Allbirds loads its general page instead of a store page.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We didn’t verify through GovX or place an order, so we can’t say who the GovX step lets through. Rates on the cash back sites change, so check the number before you buy.
