Wellness Mats gives K-12 teachers and college professors an additional 10% off on WellnessMats.com or at any participating WellnessMats retailer location. The page names no verification service like ID.me. It says to include a government-issued ID or other verification when you first contact the company, and you enter a code at checkout.
If you spend your day on your feet at the front of a room, a cushioned standing mat is the kind of thing that’s easy to put off buying for yourself. Wellness Mats says its products are 100% Made in America and says it’s proud to be the leader in anti-fatigue mats for both the home and workplace. Teachers are one of four groups on its Public Service Discounts page.
How To Get The Wellness Mats Teacher Discount
The page lists Teachers K-12 and College Professors among the groups the discount is available to, alongside medical professionals, firefighters, EMTs, law enforcement, veterans and active members of any branch of the United States Armed Forces. To claim it, include your government-issued ID certificate or other verification in your initial contact so Wellness Mats can verify your eligibility. The code then has to be entered at checkout.
The page doesn’t say how the code is delivered or how long verification takes, so give yourself some extra time before you plan a purchase around it. It prints no end date.
Who Counts As A Teacher
The only wording on the page is “Teachers K-12, College Professors.” It doesn’t mention substitutes, support staff, retired teachers or homeschool teachers, so if you’re in one of those groups, ask when you make your first contact before you send documents.
What The Discount Leaves Out
Wellness Mats says the code may not be combined with any other discount, promotion or free shipping offer. Its Promos & Offers page lists free standard ground shipping on orders over $150, before taxes and shipping charges, so on a larger order you’d be choosing between the free shipping and the extra 10%, going by the page’s wording. Check which one saves you more at your checkout.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Wellness Mats’s page doesn’t say whether the 10% applies to every collection or only some, how the code reaches you, or what turnaround to expect. We didn’t contact the company or place an order, so we can’t tell you what verification looks like in practice or what your checkout shows once the code is in.
