Vineyard Vines gives teachers 15% off through SheerID, and its own teacher discount page says the discount is valid on vineyardvines.com, at vineyard vines retail stores and over the phone. The same page says “Discount is not valid at vineyard vines outlet stores,” and the FAQ says teacher discounts apply to US addresses and customers only.
Two details are worth knowing before you start: the code is a one-time use code, and the outlet rule means a store with the Vineyard Vines name on it isn’t automatically a store the discount works in.
How To Get The Vineyard Vines Teacher Discount
The page says the discount applies to teachers with proper credentials, and that verification is completed by its partner SheerID and may take a few hours. Once you’re verified, you get a one-time use code that’s valid for 15% off. The page says each eligible person gets a limit of 1 code every 30 days, again subject to verification through SheerID.
The page names three places you can use it: vineyardvines.com, vineyard vines retail stores, and over the phone at 800.892.4982. It names one place you can’t: vineyard vines outlet stores.
What’s Excluded
The teacher page says exclusions apply, and the FAQ page lists the standard exclusions for its offers: gift cards, The Kentucky Derby Collection, personalization fees, Jim Nantz Forget Me Knot Collection, any charitable products, Yeti, Titleist golf products, Costa sunglasses, Seabags, Smathers and Branson, Corksicle, Fat Boy, local store collections and any third party branded products.
The teacher page adds that purchases made with the offer aren’t eligible for future price adjustment, and that the discount applies to merchandise only. It says the offer can’t be combined with any other offer except a gift with purchase promotion, and it limits one discount per order. Vineyard Vines reserves the right to change or cancel the promotion at any time.
Two Pages That Describe It Differently
The FAQ page words the teacher discount differently from the teacher page. Its heading reads “Teacher Discounts (in store ONLY),” and its answer says teachers get 15% at vineyard vines retail stores and must show a valid ID at checkout. The teacher page describes the SheerID code route, and it says the code works online, in retail stores and by phone. We’ve followed the teacher page because it’s the one that describes the SheerID code, but if you’re planning to use the in-store ID route, ask a store associate how it works before you make the trip.
SheerID’s listing for Vineyard Vines says teachers can receive 15% off their entire purchase, valid online at vineyardvines.com and at participating retail and outlet locations. The outlet part doesn’t match Vineyard Vines’ own page, which says the discount isn’t valid at outlet stores.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The pages say “teachers” and “proper credentials” and don’t define either, so we can’t tell you whether a college instructor, a substitute or a school staff member qualifies. The teacher page doesn’t give an end date. It also doesn’t say which sale items, if any, the code works on, only that exclusions apply and that it can’t be combined with another offer.
