Sunglass Hut gives U.S. teachers 15% off, according to ID.me, and it’s one of those offers where the exclusion list matters as much as the percentage. Read it before you fall for a pair, not after.
Sunglass Hut sells sunglasses from a long list of makers, and ID.me’s note on the teacher discount names many of them, along with Ray-Ban and Oakley. That list is what decides whether the 15% lands on the pair you have in mind, so it gets its own section below.
How To Get The Sunglass Hut Teacher Discount
ID.me lists the offer as 15% off for U.S. Teachers, also available on Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta AI glasses. Start at ID.me’s Sunglass Hut page, sign in to your ID.me account or make a free one, and confirm that you’re a teacher. ID.me says verified Teachers community members get these savings through ID.me Shop, so use that route instead of going straight to the store.
The wording says U.S. Teachers, so it’s meant for shoppers in the United States. Check the total in your cart before you pay, and if the 15% isn’t there, back out and go through ID.me again.
Brands The Discount Skips
ID.me’s restriction note says the following brands are excluded: Chanel, Dior, Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli, Maui Jim, Prada, Prada Linea Rossa, Miu Miu, Cartier, Brunello Cucinelli, Persol, Moncler and Michael Kors. It also leaves out selected limited editions and exclusive styles, plus Ray-Ban special collections and Oakley special collections. So the discount may work on a classic Ray-Ban and not on a special collection of the same brand.
Two names on that list have good news attached. ID.me lists a Teachers discount for Maui Jim and for Persol on their own pages, so if one of those is the pair you want, check the brand’s own offer instead of buying it through Sunglass Hut.
What You Can’t Combine It With
The same note says the discount can’t be combined with other promotional codes or other markdowns, and that it doesn’t apply to new product launches, limited editions or gift card purchases. If a pair is already marked down, the teacher percentage isn’t added on top.
Meta AI Glasses
The Sunglass Hut line includes Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta AI glasses. ID.me says that discount is available online only, so it isn’t something to expect at a mall counter.
