Two years ago, members of The Turtles sued Sirius in three federal courts alleging unauthorized use of their songs by Sirius. On Friday, Sirius settled the suit by paying each label involved a total of $60 Million from 1972 through 2017 for using their music without permission; SoundExchange will distribute this sum back to them as digital royalties royalties.
