How To Get The Owala Teacher Discount
Owala’s page opens with “We are pleased to offer our Owala Teacher Discount program.” Under that is a Get Discount button, and the page says to click it and verify your eligibility with VerifyPass. It also says its identity verification is powered by VerifyPass, and it doesn’t mention ID.me anywhere.
After verification, the page says you’ll receive a one-time discount code to apply during checkout. For future purchases, it says to return to the page and repeat the first step. So the code you get today isn’t one to save for a later order. Plan to come back to this page and verify again each time.

Who Qualifies
Owala’s page puts it in one line: Teachers – Pre-K, K-12 and Professors. It also has a Details link next to that line, and the notes behind it are on VerifyPass.
Those VerifyPass notes are wider than Owala’s one line. They say eligible applicants include current or former employees of accredited or licensed educational institutions serving any level from early childhood through post-secondary education, and they cover public, charter, private, parochial and vocational institutions. The roles they list include teaching assistants, substitutes, specialists and instructional coaches, department chairs, deans and librarians. Owala’s own line only names teachers and professors, so if you’re in one of those other roles, check at the verification step.
What To Use As Proof
VerifyPass says acceptable proof may be any official document that reasonably links you to your school. Its examples are a staff ID, a faculty badge, a current semester course roster with your name on it, an employment contract, a pay statement, an HR letter or a certification of hire. It also says the documents may reflect full-time, part-time, seasonal, temporary or retired status, as long as the connection to teaching employment is clear.
That last point matters if you’re retired or work part time. It comes from VerifyPass’s notes, not from Owala’s page, so treat it as VerifyPass’s rule for the verification step.
Other Owala Offers On VerifyPass
VerifyPass’s Owala listing shows 4 offers. Besides the teacher offer there’s a military discount, a first responder discount and a combined healthcare worker and first responder discount. If someone in your house fits one of those, each has its own Apply button on that listing.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The amount is the main gap. Owala’s page says you’ll get a discount code and doesn’t say how much it takes off. VerifyPass’s Owala listing, a third-party page, says under its Teacher Discount: “Use this code to receive a 20% discount on your order.” That’s VerifyPass’s figure and not one Owala prints itself, so check the amount when your code arrives before you plan around it.
We also couldn’t find whether the code works with other offers, or which products it leaves out. Owala’s page says nothing on either, and shows no dates or holiday terms.
Country is unclear too. Owala’s page names no country limit, while VerifyPass’s teacher notes mention institutions in the US, UK, CA and AUS. We didn’t verify through VerifyPass or place an order, so we can’t tell you which countries’ orders accept the code or what price you’d see at checkout.
