Mazda is celebrating educators across the United States by offering complimentary standard oil changes until September 30 at participating dealers nationwide. This offer follows on the success of one extended last year to healthcare workers.
Automakers made significant efforts during last year’s coronavirus pandemic to aid in combatting it and provide essential ventilation and medical supplies – from offering money and supplies, to engineering and producing necessary medical devices.
Honda and Toyota both offered free oil changes for healthcare workers; this was, however, the first time an automaker took such an initiative with educators as recipients of free service.
Mazda launched the Essential Car Care Educators program in July to support local educators’ safety on the roads. Participating dealers offer complimentary standard oil changes for educators while interior and exterior vehicle cleaning helps ensure educator road safety.
This program caters to public and private school teachers, university faculty members, college students and staff members from public or private schools as well as university faculties. In order to qualify for this program, educators must possess either a valid teaching license or equivalent as well as proof that they work in education by showing pay stubs from employers in this industry.
