Les Mills has long been known as an innovator in group fitness, creating groundbreaking classes such as boot camp sessions, cardio workouts and interval training that appeal to everyone. No matter their fitness level or experience level, there’s sure to be a Les Mills program perfect for you.
Start teaching Les Mills classes by completing our initial training weekend, where you’ll learn all of the fundamentals of how to conduct a lesson. These two-day courses can be completed either in-person or online and come equipped with all necessary materials.
Once your initial training weekend is completed, there are still some additional requirements that must be fulfilled to earn Les Mills instructor accreditation. These include completing some materials and uploading a full class video for review.
This is an ideal chance for you to hone your Les Mills instructor skills and demonstrate them with a live class audience. Additionally, it gives you valuable experience for delivering classes of your own with complete knowledge of the curriculum and choreography.
Another advantage of attending a Les Mills initial training weekend is that you can become acquainted with the moves and coaching from various programs before making your choice on which to teach. This keeps lessons interesting while giving you opportunities to hone skills in choreography, technique, coaching and connecting with students.
