Ashley Burch was leaving Hurricane Harbor water park on Wednesday night when she heard what initially sounded like car horn honks in its parking lot, followed by gunfire that she knew must have come from outside. She hopes her three-year-old doesn’t remember any details from what transpired, although Six Flags told WFAA all who enter Hurricane Harbor undergo touchless metal detectors as part of industry-leading security measures in place.
