How To Get The Pottery Barn Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher rate to claim. ID.me’s Pottery Barn page says “We’re not aware that Pottery Barn offers Teachers discounts,” and we read Pottery Barn’s Key Rewards page and its customer-service FAQ and found no teacher or educator wording on either one.
The route open to everyone is The Key Rewards, which covers eight Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brands, among them Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen and West Elm. The page says members can join for free and earn 2% back in Silver rewards on qualified purchases across its brands. The FAQ says to join as a member and use your registered phone number at checkout. The page has a Join Now button for it.
The other way to save is cash back on a Pottery Barn gift card. Fluz lists Pottery Barn gift cards with 6.5% cashback, so you’d buy the card through Fluz and spend it at Pottery Barn. The button below goes there.
What The Key Rewards Gives You
Silver is the free tier. The page says a reward code is sent to your inbox 30 days after you earn $10 or more in Silver rewards, and that it also shows on your Key Rewards dashboard on the brand websites. Your account balance updates 48 hours after purchase or shipment. Among the member benefits it lists is free design services with Design Crew, and a $25 birthday reward.
The birthday reward comes with conditions. It’s a certificate issued during your birthday month through your Williams-Sonoma, Inc. account, and it needs a purchase in the 12 months before that month. Only one is awarded in a 12-month period, and it has to be redeemed within 30 days of being issued.
Gold is the cardmember tier. Cardmembers earn 5% back in Gold rewards with a Key Rewards Visa across the eight brands, and new cardmembers earn 10% back for the first 30 days from account opening, 5% thereafter. On a given transaction you earn either Gold or Silver, not both. We haven’t covered the card’s terms beyond the rewards page, so read its disclosures before you apply.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz lists Pottery Barn gift cards with 6.5% cashback, and that’s the rate for the gift card, not for a regular order at checkout. Rakuten’s Pottery Barn page reads “Pottery Barn Coupons, Promo Codes & No Cash Back” in its title, so it wasn’t offering cash back when we looked. We didn’t find a TopCashback store page for Pottery Barn. Rates change, so check the number on Fluz before you buy.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Pottery Barn’s trade program page and its teacher gifts page wouldn’t load for us, so we can’t rule out an offer on either one. We also didn’t check its registry or sale pages, so we can’t tell you what a sale or a registry completion offer is right now.
We didn’t buy a gift card or join the Key Rewards, so we can’t tell you whether paying with a Fluz gift card still earns Silver rewards. We read the Key Rewards page as it loaded, and we can’t show you a checkout price.
