In order to qualify for this Verizon Fios discount, as an educator in K-12 or postsecondary teaching you must be the primary account holder on your Verizon account and currently employed with valid teaching certificates at the time of application.
Verification can take up to 10 days depending on the documentation you submit, after which Verizon will notify you that your discount was approved.
How to Determine Eligibility for the Verizon Fios Teacher Discount
There are two methods you can use to verify eligibility for a Verizon Fios internet discount: either through using their online tool, available both on their website and the My Verizon app; or calling customer support directly. The online tool can be found both online and within My Verizon.
When using the online tool, you will need to enter your name, email address, mobile number and billing ZIP code.
Once you enter your information and click submit, the system will send a verification email with a link to a verification page that displays your application status.
