CookUnity gives teachers up to 35% off for the first 17 weeks of meal delivery, and it runs the offer through GovX instead of ID.me. If you’ve looked for CookUnity on ID.me and come up empty, that’s why: ID.me’s CookUnity page says it isn’t aware that CookUnity offers Teachers discounts, but CookUnity’s own GovX page names educators and teachers.
CookUnity describes meals crafted by its team of elite chefs, delivered fresh to your doorstep weekly. The meals arrive ready to go, since the page says that once you get them you just heat and enjoy, which is handy on a night when the most you can face is heating something up.
How To Get The CookUnity Teacher Discount
The offer lives on CookUnity’s GovX landing page. The page says GovX is a trusted service that confirms eligibility for exclusive offers, and its list includes teachers. The line at the top of the page names educators as well, so both words appear.
The page lays out four steps. First, you enter your zip code to join CookUnity. Second, after you fill out your dietary preferences, you click the popup that offers a special deal for military and teachers, which is where you confirm your GovX account. Third, you pick a meal plan, and the page says you can filter the menu by chef, cuisine or dietary preference. Fourth, you place your order.
What The Offer Gives You
The page promises up to 35% off. The words up to matter, because the page doesn’t say which plans get the full 35%, and we couldn’t confirm what a typical plan saves. The discount runs for the first 17 weeks once you’re verified, so it’s a long introduction rather than a one-box deal, and it’s worth a calendar reminder for when it ends.
The page doesn’t call delivery free. The FAQ says delivery fees may vary based on your location and tells you to check during checkout, so look at that line before you pay.
Who Qualifies
The FAQ says that as a new customer, if you have an active GovX member ID, you’re eligible for the promotion. That means two things for you. It’s for new customers, and you need a GovX membership that already counts you as a teacher. The page says you can verify your GovX membership upon signing up, so the check happens inside the signup flow. We couldn’t confirm what GovX asks a teacher to show, so start with GovX if you don’t have an account yet.
The Fine Print
CookUnity says this offer can’t be combined with other promotions or discounts, so a public sign-up deal and the teacher offer are an either-or. We tried to read CookUnity’s support article on the GovX discount, but its help site blocked us, so everything here comes from the landing page. The terms link on that page is the place to look for anything further.
