Bed Bath & Beyond owned it for years before selling it to Handil Holdings, and late in its life the stores were rebranded as CTS so shoppers wouldn’t think they only sold Christmas things.

A few days later, the bankruptcy was converted to Chapter 7, which means the business was wound down rather than reorganized.
