Casper gives teachers an extra 5% off everything. Its Student & Teacher Discount page lists “Extra 5% off everything*” for teachers and students, and once you verify with ID.me you get a promo code to paste into your cart.
If a mattress, a set of sheets or a new pillow has been on your list, you verify and the code shows up right away. Before you check out, read the stacking rule: Casper takes one code per order, so the 5% doesn’t add to a sale. We’ve laid that out below, along with the other limits.
How To Get The Casper Teacher Discount
The page says you verify your school affiliation by clicking the ID.me button, which takes you to a pop-up window. Once you do, it says “you will immediately receive an exclusive promo code to copy and paste into your shopping cart.” On who qualifies, the page is short: “All teachers & students are eligible for the program.”
Casper’s help center gives the same answer: “Absolutely! Casper offers an extra 5% off everything for Teachers and Students.” ID.me’s page for Casper lists “Extra 5% off for Teachers.” The button below goes to Casper’s page, where the ID.me button is.
What The 5% Doesn’t Cover
The footnote on Casper’s page reads “Offer is not combinable with other offers. Clearance and final sale products are not included.” Its FAQ says the same thing. Asked whether you can combine the teacher discount with other discounts, it answers “No. Discounts cannot be combined. We only accept one discount code per order.” If something is already on sale, you use one or the other.
Casper’s promo page says which one wins: “we’re unable to stack discounts and will apply the promo with the greatest discount!” In other words, if a sale code takes more off than 5% does, the sale code is the one Casper applies.
ID.me’s page for Casper adds a cap. It says the discount excludes final sale and clearance items, and that “Total discount cannot exceed 35%.” The FAQ also asks whether you can give your discount to friends who aren’t eligible, and the answer is “No, this program is only for eligible members.”
Casper’s Community Discount Page
Casper has a second page for the same offer, its Community Discount page. It lists “Extra 5% off everything*” and repeats the teacher wording, “All teachers & students are eligible for the program.” If you land on that page from a search, it’s the same 5%.
If You’re Shopping During A Sale
When we checked, Casper’s Black Friday sale page read “This sale has ended, but you can bundle and save all year long.” We didn’t find holiday sale terms posted there. The FAQ at the bottom of that page says students and teachers can get an extra 5% off their orders. Since the 5% can’t be combined, a bigger sale code would replace it, not add to it.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The page says “All teachers & students” and stops there. It doesn’t spell out whether that covers only K-12 teachers or also college instructors, substitutes or retired teachers, so if you’re in one of those groups, ask Casper before you count on it. The page doesn’t say whether the code works at Casper Sleep Shops, and it gives no end date for the offer or length of time a code lasts. We didn’t place an order, so we can’t tell you how the code behaves in the cart.
