Factor gives verified teachers 55% off the first box, free shipping on that box, and 15% off the next 51 boxes, and it runs the offer through ID.me. If your week is a blur of lesson plans and grading, a box of meals that shows up at the door is the kind of help worth a few minutes of setup.
Factor’s discount page describes meals delivered to your door, with plans and sizes that change the savings. There’s no code to paste. You verify first and the page says the savings appear at checkout, so the work is all up front.
How To Get The Factor Teacher Discount
Start at Factor’s discount program page. It asks you to choose a verification provider. The page describes ID.me as a trusted platform for students, teachers, military and more, and it labels GovX as exclusively for military and first responders. Teachers choose ID.me.
The page then walks through three steps. Step one is to click Verify with ID.me and provide your information, and the group list in that step names teachers. Step two says new and former customers will see savings automatically at checkout. Step three is to check out with your discount.
What The Offer Gives You
The page’s headline offer is 55% off the first box, free shipping, and 15% off the next 51 boxes. The terms word it a little differently, saying to take 55% off the first box and 15% off the next 51 boxes, including free shipping on the first box. ID.me’s Factor page lists Teachers at the same rate, 55% off the first box plus 15% off ongoing for a year, which it counts as 51 boxes.
Shipping is free on the first box only. ID.me’s restrictions say a shipping fee applies on all deliveries after the first box. Factor adds that discounts vary for other meal plans and sizes, so your actual savings depend on the plan you pick. We couldn’t confirm a dollar amount for a particular plan, so look at the total in your cart.
The Fine Print
The discount may only be used for future orders, not previous ones, so verify before you place the order. It can’t be combined with any of Factor’s other promotions, and the terms add gift cards to the list. The offer can’t be sold or otherwise bartered.
The terms say the offer can only be used once, by new customers with a qualifying auto-renewing subscription purchase or by customers whose account was deactivated over a day before redemption. ID.me words that restriction as new Factor customers or former customers who deactivated over a day before using the voucher. The offer expires 380 days after offer purchase. It isn’t valid on premiums, meal upgrades or taxes, and it’s void outside the U.S.
Factor says it has the right to end or modify any offer at any time, so the terms you see when you verify are the ones that count.
A Note On Who Qualifies
Here’s one wrinkle. The sign-up step on Factor’s page names teachers, but the FAQ answer to who qualifies lists medical providers, nurses, hospital employees and military and veterans, and leaves teachers out. ID.me lists Teachers at the full rate and says Factor Meals is one of the hundreds of retailers offering special savings for verified Teachers community members through ID.me Shop. We went with the sign-up step and ID.me, but we couldn’t reconcile the FAQ, so check that the discount shows in your cart before you pay.
