If you’re a teacher picking up craft supplies or bulletin board decor with your own money, that organizational discount is written for an organization’s card, so it isn’t one to count on for a personal purchase. How To Get The Hobby Lobby Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher discount to claim, and no form or code. Hobby Lobby points teachers to the sales on its back-to-school page and in its Weekly Ad. The organizational discount is described on its donations and ministry page, which says, “Please see your local store manager in regard to obtaining this discount.” The page doesn’t say what a school has to show, so a school that holds an organizational credit card would need to ask a store manager.
Buying For A Classroom Or School
The page says Hobby Lobby carries a wide selection of classroom decorations and decor and points to its classroom decor department and category pages for posters, anchor charts, bulletin board decorations, rugs and more. Its FAQ says it doesn’t offer bulk discounts, and its answer to “Do you accept public school purchase orders online?” is “Sorry, we are unable to accept purchase orders. All orders must be pre-paid before shipping.” So an online order for a school has to be paid in full before it ships.
Shopping On Your Own
The sales are the part open to everyone. Hobby Lobby says it offers a variety of discounts in its back-to-school sales and Weekly Ad, and it invites you to join its email list to receive its Weekly Ad, special promotions, fun project ideas and store news. We didn’t find percentages for any of them on the pages we read, so check the ad before you go.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback’s Hobby Lobby page says to get 3% of the price back. Its exclusions list the purchase of a Hobby Lobby gift card and use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback, and its terms say Cash Back is calculated only on the item price, without taxes, shipping or other fees. They also say Hobby Lobby only ships within the United States.
Rakuten’s Hobby Lobby page lists 2% Cash Back. It says Cash Back isn’t available on the purchase of gift cards and that use of coupon or promotional codes not listed on Rakuten may void Cash Back. Fluz’s Hobby Lobby page says in its offer terms to get 1.5% cashback on purchases at Hobby Lobby, and it adds that offers are subject to change.
Both TopCashback and Rakuten warn about coupon codes they don’t list, so pick the cash back route before you add a code from somewhere else. Rates change, so read the number on the portal before you pay. You can start from our TopCashback page, Rakuten page or Fluz page.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We can’t say what a school has to show to get the 10 percent organizational discount, which stores honor it, or whether it works for a teacher who uses a school-issued card. We read Hobby Lobby’s FAQ index and found no teacher or educator question, and we can’t speak to what a store manager decides at the register.
We didn’t place an order, so we haven’t watched cash back post to an account, and we couldn’t find a percentage for the back-to-school sales.
