Converse gives teachers 15% off on Converse.com. Its terms say K-12, high school and university teachers in the U.S. can take advantage of a 15% discount on Converse.com in the United States, verified through SheerID. After you verify, the 15% is applied automatically in your cart, so there’s no code to copy.
If you’re replacing a pair of classroom-worn Chucks or picking out a gift for someone who lives in sneakers, the one catch is that the verification link works once. Here’s the full path, and the exclusions that decide whether a particular pair qualifies.
How To Get The Converse Teacher Discount
Start at Converse’s teacher discount page, headed “Get 15% Off.” Converse’s promotional terms say the verification is processed through SheerID, a third-party verification service. Once verification is complete, you click the link to be routed back to Converse.com, and the 15% is applied automatically in your cart.
The terms are specific about the link: it’s for single use only, and your eligibility has to be re-verified prior to checkout each time on Converse.com. A second order means a second verification.
What’s Excluded
The teacher page carries a note that exclusions apply, and the terms spell them out. The discount is valid on Converse.com in the United States only, and it isn’t valid on gift cards, Converse Launch, Converse Limited Edition or NBA licensed product. It also can’t be combined with any other discount or promotion, so if a sale price already applies to the pair you want, you’re choosing between the two.
The offer isn’t transferable, and it isn’t redeemable for cash, credit or toward previous purchases. Converse reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The terms name Converse.com in the United States and say nothing about Converse retail stores or outlets, so we can’t say whether the discount works there. They also don’t define what counts as a teacher beyond K-12, high school and university teachers, so substitutes, aides and administrators aren’t addressed. Converse’s Teacher Discount help article loads with JavaScript only and we couldn’t read it, so nothing above comes from it.
