African Lion Safari doesn’t list a discount for teachers or educators on any page we could read. Its admissions page has adult, child and infant tickets and nothing else, and the School Visits page has a booking form and a lunch menu with no prices on it.

If you’re planning a class trip to the park in Cambridge, Ontario, or a weekend with your own kids, it helps to know what the park does give you before you book. There’s a group page with gift shop coupons, a Season Passport with food and gift shop savings, and a School Visits form for asking about your class.

How To Get The African Lion Safari Teacher Discount

There isn’t a published teacher discount to claim. We read the admissions page, the School Visits page, the Groups of 25+ page and the Groups page, which links four group pages: School Visits, Tour Operators, Groups of 25+ and Corporate Groups. None of them has teacher or educator wording. The admissions page lists adult tickets for ages 13 and up, child tickets for ages 3 to 12, and free admission for infants 2 and under.

For a class, the park’s own route is the School Visits booking form. The page says “Book your School Visits experience” and describes educational presentations that introduce students to birds and animals while highlighting conservation efforts. It lists no admission prices, so ask what a class booking costs before you build a permission slip around a number.

What You Can Use Instead

Online adult tickets are $39.95, $47.95 or $39.95 CAD depending on which of the page’s three date ranges you pick, and child tickets are $26.95, $33.95 or $26.95. The page says prices don’t include applicable taxes or fees. Gate tickets are priced higher than online ones, and the page says limited tickets are available at the gate and recommends buying online in advance.

The Groups of 25+ page is written for big groups and never mentions schools or teachers, so it may not apply to a class booking. It says each visitor gets a 20% discount coupon for the Gift Shop with its first package, and its second package adds an Official Souvenir Guidebook for each visitor. It also describes a step-on guide who boards your coach and gives your group a personal tour of the Game Reserves, and it promises to get groups closer to over 1,000 exotic birds and animals. The School Visits page doesn’t mention the coupons, so whether a school booking counts as a group booking for them is a question for the park.

If you’d come back more than once, the Season Passport is the offer on the admissions page with savings attached. It gives unlimited admission for the season, 20% off food and non-alcoholic beverages at on-site food service locations, and 20% off gift shop merchandise, with batteries and sale items excluded. The page says passports are sold individually and are non-transferable and non-refundable, and that you need to present yours before payment is processed to get the discount.

Good To Know Before You Go

The School Visits page lists lunch options for a class: a slice of pepperoni and cheese pizza with a cookie, two chicken fingers with child sized fries, or a flame-broiled cheeseburger with child size fries. It doesn’t print a price for any of them.

Two rules are worth knowing before you pay. The admissions page says the park has a no refund, no exchange policy, that no refunds or rain passes are provided for bad weather, and that all ticket sales are final. It also says vehicles with cracked windows, convertibles, soft tops and soft tire covers aren’t permitted in the drive through Game Reserves, so check your own car before you plan the day around it.

Cash Back Routes We Checked

We looked for African Lion Safari on Fluz, Rakuten and TopCashback under its full name and as lionsafari. Fluz and TopCashback returned not-found pages, and Rakuten loaded its general page instead of a store page, so there isn’t a cash back route here that we can point you to.

What We Couldn’t Confirm

The admissions page we read describes a season that has already ended, with its own prices and open days, so next season’s prices and opening day may differ. We didn’t submit the booking form, so we can’t say what a school quote looks like or whether it includes any break on admission.

The park’s newsletter sign-up says it gives access to exclusive updates, discounts, and insider-only offers and experiences. It doesn’t say whether any of those are for teachers, and we didn’t sign up to find out.

Q&A

Does African Lion Safari give teachers a discount?
Not on any page we read. The admissions, School Visits, Groups of 25+ and Groups pages have no teacher or educator wording.

How do I ask about a class trip?
The School Visits page has a booking form, and it lists no admission prices, so the form is where you’d ask what a class pays.

Do groups get a discount?
The Groups of 25+ page says each visitor gets a 20% discount coupon for the Gift Shop. It doesn’t mention schools.

Can I get my money back if the weather turns?
The admissions page says no refunds or rain passes are provided due to inclement weather, and that all ticket sales are final.

Can I drive any car through the Game Reserves?

Is there cash back on tickets?
We didn’t find a store page on Fluz, Rakuten or TopCashback.
