ID.me’s PUMA US page lists 20% off for Teachers, and PUMA’s own Service Discount page offers 20% off to doctors, nurses, first responders, military personnel and other qualified members. Both say the offer is online only.

If you’re shopping for running shoes or a pair of everyday sneakers, here’s how the offer is set up, what it leaves out and the cash back routes we found.

How To Get The PUMA Teacher Discount

ID.me’s PUMA US page says PUMA US has a Teachers discount and/or cash back offer, and its store listing reads “20% off for Teachers.” PUMA’s Service Discount page carries the same 20%, and it has a Verify with ID.me button. The listing says the community offer is available for online purchases only, and PUMA’s page says the offer is only available on PUMA.com, so don’t plan on using it in a store.

We didn’t verify through ID.me, so we can’t walk you through the steps after you press the button. Read the offer on ID.me before you build an order around it.

What The Offer Leaves Out

The ID.me listing says the offer excludes, but isn’t limited to, new product release, Select and Partnership collections, Icons, Nitro performance running, MB collection, FENTY x PUMA, Teamsport, new licensed and replica jerseys, and Golf. Because the list says it isn’t limited to those, a product that isn’t named could still be left out, so check your cart before you pay.

Cash Back Routes We Checked

Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at PUMA with a Fluz virtual card. Rakuten’s PUMA page is titled “Coupons, Promo Codes & 3% Cash Back,” and it says cash back isn’t available on new product launches including Pokémon Collection, Speedcat, FENTY, PUMA x KIDSUPER and Nitro, or on orders PUMA deems to be used for reselling. TopCashback has a PUMA page too, but we couldn’t read a rate off it, so we aren’t quoting one. Rates change, so check the number on the page you click through to before you pay. We didn’t check whether cash back can be combined with the 20%.

What We Couldn’t Confirm

PUMA’s own Service Discount page lists doctors, nurses, first responders, military personnel and other qualified members, and it doesn’t name teachers. The teacher line comes from ID.me’s listing, so we can’t say for certain that PUMA treats teachers as one of the other qualified members. An older PUMA FAQ page says 10% off for active and veteran military personnel, teachers and other qualified members, but the current pages say 20%, so we’re going by the 20%. We also didn’t place an order, so we can’t say what the checkout looks like.
