Eddie Bauer doesn’t list a discount for teachers on the pages we could read. Its own discount page is an ID.me Exclusive Discount page that gives 15% off to Government Employees, Hospital Employees, Medical Providers, Military, Nurses, and First Responders, and teachers aren’t named on it. What we did find is cash back: Rakuten lists 2% at Eddie Bauer, and Fluz lists 1.5% cashback.
If you’re shopping for a winter coat or a fleece before the weather turns, it helps to know up front that there’s no teacher rate to ask for at checkout. Here’s what Eddie Bauer does say, and the cash back routes that put a little back on an ordinary order.
How To Get The Eddie Bauer Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount we could confirm, so there’s no code or verification step to walk through. Eddie Bauer’s ID.me Exclusive Discount page says to verify your eligibility with ID.me to receive the discount, but the groups it names are Government Employees, Hospital Employees, Medical Providers, Military, Nurses, and First Responders. We found no teacher or educator group on it.
ID.me’s own Eddie Bauer page says it isn’t aware that Eddie Bauer offers Teachers discounts, and its store listing shows 15% off for Military. Since a teacher rate isn’t on offer, the next best thing is cash back on the order you were going to place anyway. The button below goes to Rakuten, where the Eddie Bauer listing reads 2%.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Rakuten lists 2% cash back at Eddie Bauer. Its terms say cash back isn’t available on bulk orders, the purchase or redemption of gift cards or orders above $3,000, so a large gift order or a gift card purchase may not earn anything.
Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Eddie Bauer with a Fluz virtual card. TopCashback has an Eddie Bauer page too, but we couldn’t read a rate off it, so we aren’t quoting one. Rates move, so look at the number on each site before you pay.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
No Eddie Bauer page we read mentions a teacher discount in its stores, and we can’t rule one out: Eddie Bauer’s customer service page didn’t show its help content when we opened it, so a policy at the register wouldn’t have appeared. We also couldn’t check whether Rakuten or Fluz can be combined with an Eddie Bauer sale price or with each other on one order.
