BMW provides teachers and those holding teaching degrees from accredited institutions with attractive discounts on its cars, trucks and SUVs. Although individual dealership offers can differ greatly when it comes to discounts for educators compared to new vehicle incentives, most major auto manufacturers provide educators with great offers that are competitive with these offers.
Chevrolet currently offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive educator discounts. Their program extends to all current employees of public, private and college schools including administrators and custodial staff as well as spouses/domestic partners of full-time students under 25. Furthermore, its website enables educators to configure a vehicle before creating an offer code they can present at any dealership location for purchase – this discount applies directly against MSRP as well as most dealer programs available to them.
Toyota, Nissan and Honda do not provide teacher discounts at the national level; however, individual dealers do provide such programs. Schumacher Automotive in Palm Beach Florida runs such an appreciation program which features great pricing, concierge delivery, free car washes and free washes; Bommarito Volkswagen of Missouri provides $250 off any new car to teachers.
GM offers an exceptional educator discount program. Open to employees of public, private and college schools as well as non-profit community centers, this discount can be used to purchase or lease all eligible Buick and GMC vehicles (SUVs, sedans, pickup trucks and cargo vans).
