No matter their copying needs, printing requirements or brochure design needs, students and teachers can find all of their supplies at stores that appreciate their hard work. Many offer special teacher discounts as a reward for educational success – some even available to homeschoolers although some require proof such as valid school ID’s or membership in teacher unions or the National Education Association membership to qualify for discounts.

Full disclosure: If you visit a link on this page and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Kinko’s was established by Paul Orfalea, starting with one store in Isla Vista before rapidly growing to over 1,200 locations nationwide, all run from its corporate headquarters in Ventura. Orfalea sold his majority stake of the business to a private equity firm before it was ultimately purchased by FedEx Corp in 1998 and integrated as part of their FedEx Office franchise network.

Teachers can enjoy special discounts at various online and in-person stores. Costco offers a Teacher Club Card for just $2.99 annually that allows members to download up to five teaching resources every week and save 15% off full price art supplies and other products; Jo-Ann’s offers its Teacher Rewards program that gives 15% savings every day; while Dick Blick offers educator discounts.

Ann Taylor LOFT, Bose and Dell also offer educators discounts. Homeschoolers who enroll in Walgreens’ Homeschool Rewards program can get 10% off everything. Finally, teachers who confirm their status at Budget Truck Rental can save 20% when moving locally.
