How To Get The Bed Bath & Beyond Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher discount to claim, so there’s no verification step. ID.me’s page reads “We’re not aware that Bed Bath & Beyond offers Teachers discounts,” and nothing on the store’s pages that we read points the other way. What the coupon help page does say is that “Coupons and promotional codes are available directly through our website other affiliate websites as well as emails,” and that “Only one discount applies per order.”
The highest cash back number is on gift cards. You buy a Bed Bath & Beyond e-gift card through Fluz and take the 6.5% cashback. Fluz’s page says its e-gift cards are available from $10 to $500 and are redeemable in-store and online. The button below goes to Fluz.
The Store’s Own Membership
The store’s own membership is welcome rewards+, and it’s a paid one, not a teacher program. The terms page describes it as a $24.95 yearly membership, and lists 5% back in Rewards on every eligible purchase, free shipping on orders (excluding orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Box or APO/FPO/DPO and international orders), and extended returns of up to 60 days, with up to 12 free returns for in-store credit per membership year. The article says the membership automatically renews one year after the purchase date, and that it’s non-refundable.
Rewards and coupons don’t add up the way you might hope. The coupon help page says “Welcome Rewards members do not receive both their rewards and coupon savings.” It adds that reward earnings are calculated after a coupon is applied to an order. The membership article also lists warranties, international orders, donations, memberships and gift cards among the purchases that don’t earn rewards.
A Group Discount That Isn’t For Teachers

Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz is the highest at 6.5%, on gift cards. Rakuten shows 2%. Its terms say cash back isn’t available on Marketplace items, donations, warranties, services, or the purchase and redemption of gift cards, and that it’s only available on one order per shopping trip. TopCashback is the lowest at 1%. Its terms say cash back is calculated only on the item price and doesn’t include taxes, shipping or other fees, and its page says purchases made on the store’s app aren’t eligible for Bed Bath & Beyond Cash Back at this time.
Codes can cost you the cash back. Rakuten says “Use of coupons/promotional codes not listed on Rakuten will void Cash Back,” and TopCashback lists use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback as an exclusion. If you want a code and the cash back together, take the code from the cash back site’s own page. Rates change, so read the percentage on the page the day you order.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Bed Bath & Beyond’s help center only loads in a browser, so we read its coupon, rewards and terms articles there, and what we saw is a snapshot of the day we looked. We read its Deals and Member Discount pages too, but ID.me’s “not aware” line isn’t proof by itself, so a teacher offer on a page we didn’t read wouldn’t have shown up for us. We also didn’t find anything on whether paying with a gift card earns the 5% in rewards, so we can’t say whether the Fluz route and the membership stack. And we didn’t place an order on any route, so we can’t say how long cash back takes to arrive.
