Pandora doesn’t list a discount for teachers. Its own help article offers 10% off to verified students, through Student Beans, and to verified members of the military, through ID.me, and it doesn’t mention teachers or educators anywhere. The student discount is valid online at pandora.net, and the military discount is valid at pandora.net and at participating Pandora retailers. What we could confirm for a teacher is cash back: Rakuten lists 2% online and 2% in store at Pandora Jewelry, and Fluz lists 1.5% with a Fluz virtual card. We read Pandora’s US pages.

Say you’re a fourth grade teacher shopping for a charm bracelet for your sister, and you’ve already got the checkout page open. You won’t find a teacher code to type in. What you can do is take a little back on the purchase, and know ahead of time which rules would get in the way.

How To Get The Pandora Teacher Discount

There isn’t a teacher discount to claim. The help article says Pandora offers 10% off to verified students and verified members of the military, and nothing in it names teachers. ID.me’s Pandora US page says it isn’t aware of Pandora US offering Teachers community discounts. That isn’t proof on its own, but Pandora’s own article points the same way.

The route we can stand behind is cash back, and Rakuten lists the higher rate: 2% online and 2% in store. Rakuten says that after a qualifying purchase it emails you when the cash back is added to your account. Read the exclusions further down before you click through, because three of them matter for gift shopping.

What The Student And Military Offer Says

You verify first. The article says the discount code is provided after you verify through Student Beans or ID.me, and that you can redeem it at checkout online or in store, with in store for ID.me only. It’s one code per customer per 24 hours, the promo code is valid for 60 days after you receive it, and it can’t be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount. The article excludes 14K gold, Lab-Grown Diamonds, and gift card or e-card purchases.

The article doesn’t say how Student Beans decides who counts as a student. If you’re taking classes yourself, that’s a question for Student Beans, and we can’t answer it from Pandora’s page.

Cash Back Routes We Checked

Rakuten’s Pandora Jewelry page lists 2% online and 2% in store. Its terms say cash back isn’t available on Last Chance and Final Sale items, on the purchase or redemption of gift cards, or on coupon or promo codes containing “UNI”, “STUB” or “MIL”. They also say that using coupon or promotional codes not listed on Rakuten may void your cash back. We don’t know what the codes Student Beans and ID.me hand out look like, so we can’t tell you whether they trip that exclusion. Check before you count on both.

If the gift you have in mind is a Pandora gift card, both the student and military article and Rakuten leave gift cards out.

Fluz lists 1.5% cash back at Pandora Jewelry with a Fluz virtual card. We didn’t find a TopCashback page for Pandora at the addresses we tried. Rates change, so check the number on Rakuten or Fluz before you pay.

Joining Pandora’s Rewards Program

Pandora’s promotions page invites visitors to join its rewards program “to earn points, get personal offers and enjoy exclusive benefits.” It doesn’t mention teachers. A footnote near the top of the page says the 10% discount will be in your account 3 days after you join and is valid for 30 days, with terms and exclusions applying. The footnote doesn’t say what the 10% covers, so read the terms when you join.

What We Couldn’t Confirm

We didn’t verify through Student Beans or ID.me, join My Pandora or place an order, so we can’t show you a checkout price or say what any code contains. The pages we read state no holiday terms for teachers: the promotions page menu lists holiday gifts and sale categories, and none of it mentions teachers. We read Pandora’s US pages only, so we can’t speak for Pandora in Canada.

Q&A

Does Pandora give teachers a discount?
Not that its own pages say. The help article names verified students and verified members of the military.

How do I get the 10% student or military discount?
Verify through Student Beans (students) or ID.me (military). Pandora then provides a code to use at checkout, valid for 60 days after you receive it.

Does that code work on gift cards?
No. The article excludes gift card and e-card purchases, along with 14K gold and Lab-Grown Diamonds.

How much cash back can I get?
Rakuten lists 2% online and 2% in store. Fluz lists 1.5% with a Fluz virtual card.

Can I use a student or military code and still get Rakuten cash back?
Rakuten says cash back isn’t available on codes containing “UNI”, “STUB” or “MIL”, and that codes not listed on Rakuten may void it. We couldn’t check what the verification codes contain.

Is this the Pandora music service?
No. This post is about Pandora jewelry. Our Pandora Music post covers the streaming service.
