EveryPlate offers verified teachers 65% off the first box, free shipping on that box, and 15% off the next 51 boxes. A 65% first-box discount is a big one, so it’s worth reading the details before you sign up.
EveryPlate delivers meals to your door, and the offer is tied to an identity check rather than a promo code. You verify, and the page says the savings show up at checkout. The terms are written around an auto-renewing subscription, so it helps to know what you’re agreeing to.
How To Get The EveryPlate Teacher Discount
Start at EveryPlate’s discount program page. It asks you to pick a verification provider. The page describes ID.me as a trusted platform for students, teachers, military and more, and it labels GovX as exclusively for military and first responders. Teachers choose ID.me.
There are three steps on the page. Step one is to click Verify with ID.me and provide your information, and the group list there names teachers. Step two says new and former customers will see savings automatically at checkout. Step three is to check out with your discount.
What The Offer Gives You
The page’s headline is 65% off the first box, free shipping, and 15% off the next 51 boxes. The terms say to take 65% off your first box and 15% off the next 51 boxes, including free shipping on the first box. ID.me’s EveryPlate page lists Teachers at the same rate, 65% off the first box plus 15% off ongoing for a year, counted as 51 boxes.
The page also says discounts vary for other meal plans and sizes, so the amount you save depends on the plan you choose. We couldn’t confirm a dollar figure for any one plan, and we couldn’t find a line about shipping after the first box on EveryPlate’s page, so look at the shipping line in your cart.
The Fine Print
The discount may only be used for future orders, not previous ones, so verify before you order. It can’t be combined with any of EveryPlate’s other promotions, and the terms add gift cards to that list. The offer can’t be sold or otherwise bartered.
The terms say the offer can only be used once, by new customers with a qualifying auto-renewing subscription purchase or by customers whose account was deactivated over a day before redemption. ID.me words that as valid for new customers or former customers, and says it varies by plan. The offer expires 380 days after offer purchase. It isn’t valid on premiums, add-ons, meal upgrades or taxes, and it’s void outside the U.S.
EveryPlate says it has the right to end or modify any offer at any time, so the terms you see when you verify are the ones that count.
A Note On Who Qualifies
One thing doesn’t line up. The sign-up step names teachers, but the FAQ answer to who qualifies lists medical providers, nurses, hospital employees and military and veterans, and doesn’t mention teachers. ID.me lists Teachers at the full rate and says EveryPlate is one of the hundreds of retailers offering special savings for verified Teachers community members through ID.me Shop. We went with the sign-up step and ID.me, but we couldn’t reconcile the FAQ, so check that the discount shows in your cart before you pay.
