To claim it, verify your teacher status with ID.me and book through the link it sends you to. The code is applied for you, and you can’t get the rate by calling the hotel.
How To Get The Wyndham Teacher Discount
- Open ID.me’s Wyndham teacher page and click “Verify with Teacher ID.”
- Confirm your teacher status with ID.me. Once you’re verified, ID.me sends you to Wyndham’s site with the code already applied.
- Book from there, and compare the total with what the same room costs without the code, since the discount varies by hotel.

Planet Hollywood isn’t a current participant. La Quinta isn’t on the list either, though AFT members get a separate Wyndham rate that does include it (more on that below).
The Fine Print
“Best Available Rate” means the best unrestricted, publicly available rate on Wyndham’s brand sites for your hotel, dates and room. The discount comes off that price, so a cheap night stays cheap and an expensive one saves you more dollars.
You have to book in advance, and the offer depends on availability at participating hotels, with some blackout dates. Rates vary by location and time of year. You can’t combine the discount with other offers, group rates or promotions, and it doesn’t work if you call the hotel directly.
