World Market doesn’t list a teacher discount today. An older discount page that still shows up in search results now redirects to its coupons page, and that page lists no teacher or educator offer. What it does list is a Rewards signup for 15% off a first purchase, and Fluz lists 5.5% cashback on a Cost Plus World Market gift card.
If you’ve been eyeing something for your classroom reading corner or your own living room and hoping a teacher code would turn up, here’s what we found and where a few dollars can still come back to you.
How To Get The World Market Teacher Discount
As far as we could find, there isn’t a teacher discount to claim. World Market’s old discount page now redirects to the coupons page. That page has no educator, first responder, K-12 or SheerID wording, and the only teacher wording on it is a Teacher Gifts shopping category in the site menu. We couldn’t read what the old page offered or who it covered, so we won’t guess.
The route we can stand behind is Fluz, which lists 5.5% cashback when you buy a Cost Plus World Market gift card. The listing doesn’t mention teachers, so we’re treating it as open to anyone who buys the card. The button below goes to Fluz.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz sells e-gift cards in amounts from $10 to $500, redeemable in-store and online. Its listing says United States only, says Fluz doesn’t charge any fees to purchase a gift card, and lists the expiration as “Does not expire.” You pay for the card first and spend it at World Market, so the cashback comes from buying the card.
Rakuten lists the store on a page titled “Cost Plus World Market Coupons, Promo Codes & No Cash Back,” which tells us there’s no cash back rate listed there today. TopCashback has a Cost Plus World Market page, but the text we could read showed no rate, so we can’t tell you what it pays.
What The Coupons Page Does List
The coupons page offers a banner to sign up for World Market Rewards and get 15% off. Its fine print says the discount applies to first-time enrollees only, and it doesn’t apply to alcoholic beverages, gift cards, eGift Cards, delivery surcharges or shipping fees. The page also says members get 10% off with Store Pick Up using the code STORE10. And it says that when you sign up for the World Market Rewards Premier Credit Card, you get 30% off your purchase plus earn 10% back on every purchase. We didn’t read the card’s terms or approval requirements, and none of these offers mentions teachers.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We couldn’t find any World Market page that explains what that old address used to offer, or whether it covered teachers, so we’re not saying what it paid or why it redirects. We didn’t join Rewards, buy a gift card or run a portal checkout, so every rate here is as the page lists it and can change.
