Any teacher who can verify through ID.me. No school email is required, and no union or professional membership either, just the one-time ID.me identity check.
How to Claim It
Go through TurboTax’s ID.me-hosted teacher page, verify your identity if you haven’t already, and the discount applies at checkout. It’s a single check, not something you redo every filing season once ID.me has you on file.
What It Doesn’t Cover
The discount applies to TurboTax’s federal products only, not state filing. It also doesn’t apply if you’re filing through a TurboTax Verified Pro rather than the standard software.
