The new Hilton Head Island Southern Tide Signature Store will be the first-of-its-kind and will offer the brand’s collection of men’s, women’s and kids’ polos, sport shirts, shorts and pants to island residents. Owned by Palmetto Dunes Resort, it will bring Southern Tide’s coastal charm and relaxed lifestyle directly to Hilton Head Island. In addition to selling Southern Tide apparel directly, Palmetto Dunes Resort plans on supporting community initiatives including making donations to Folds of Honor while matching programs are set up through Palmetto Dunes Resort as well as working closely with nonprofit marine conservation research organization OCEARCH in order to raise awareness of an endangered great white shark species.
Southern Tide Signature Store’s success rests upon strong leadership and customer service excellence, along with plans to grow its presence across South Carolina by opening additional stores. Furthermore, advertising efforts will be increased through partnerships such as that with regional sports broadcaster ESPN Radio; hopefully driving traffic to their website and store locations.
