ID.me lists 15% off at Sonos for “U.S. & Canadian Teachers,” but Sonos’s own Frontline Workers page offers 15% off to first responders and healthcare workers and doesn’t name teachers. So this is an ID.me offer that Sonos’s pages don’t back up by name, and it’s worth reading the listing yourself before you build a cart around it.

How To Get The Sonos Teacher Discount
ID.me’s Sonos page says Sonos has a Teachers discount and/or cash back offer, and its store listing reads “15% off for U.S. & Canadian Teachers.” That’s the only place we found teachers named. Sonos’s Frontline Workers page says first responders and healthcare workers can take 15% off Sonos products and accessories, and it tells them to verify with ID.me to receive their code. It doesn’t use the words teacher or educator.
The Frontline Workers page describes the code as single-use, valid only at sonos.com on select Sonos products and accessories, and says it can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. We didn’t verify through ID.me, so we can’t tell you what teachers see after they click through or whether the same terms apply to the teacher code.
What The Offer Leaves Out
ID.me’s listing says the codes aren’t valid on B-stock, refurbished products, turntables, Wrensilva, Sonos Play or Era100 SL, and that they can’t be stacked with promos, including discounts on Sets. The Frontline Workers page has its own list: it excludes limited edition, last chance and certified refurbished products. The two lists don’t match, so check your cart against both before you pay.
Both pages say the code can’t be combined with other offers or promotions, which means a sale price and the teacher code may be an either-or choice. We didn’t test that at checkout, so look at the total before you commit.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback’s Sonos page says you can get up to 5% of the price back, and its rates are 5% on a new customer purchase, 2.5% on a new customer purchase of refurbished items, 2% on an existing customer purchase and 1% on an existing customer purchase of refurbished items. Rakuten’s Sonos page shows 2% Cash Back. We didn’t find a Fluz page for Sonos.
Read the fine print before you count on a code and cash back together. TopCashback lists use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback under its cash back exclusions, and Rakuten’s page says using coupon codes that aren’t listed on Rakuten will void Cash Back. We didn’t test whether an order that uses an ID.me code still earns cash back, so decide which one you want before you check out. Rates change, so check the number on the page you click through to.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Sonos’s own pages don’t name teachers, so we can’t say Sonos treats teachers the way it treats first responders and healthcare workers, and we didn’t find a teacher page on sonos.com. Sonos’s promotional offers page lists Frontline Workers and Student Discount and nothing for teachers. We also didn’t place an order, so we can’t say what the checkout looks like or what the teacher code does there.
