SoulCycle doesn’t have a teacher discount. Its discounted pricing is for students, so there’s no teacher rate to claim, and Fluz, TopCashback and Rakuten don’t list SoulCycle for cash back. Your first shoe rental is free, though, and there are a few other ways to pay less, which are below.
SoulCycle is a 45-minute indoor rhythm riding class set to music in a candlelit room. See more health and fitness discounts for teachers.
How To Get The SoulCycle Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher code and no verification to go through. These are the routes that do exist:
- Start on the new rider page and book your first class. Check in at the front desk at least 15 minutes before it starts so the studio crew can set up your bike.
- Take the free first shoe rental. After that, rentals are $4 at the front desk, or you can bring your own.
- Ask your district’s HR or benefits office whether a staff wellness program could book through SoulCycle’s Corporate Wellness Program.
- If you’re also a student, check the student pricing page.
What You’ll Pay
SoulCycle sells class packs and memberships, and the prices depend on your region, so look at the class pack and membership page for yours. Soul Renew is a membership that automatically refills your classes monthly. It’s a recurring payment and expires 30 days from the purchase date.
Classes expire. Class pack series are specific to the region where you bought them and aren’t transferable, and SoulCycle can’t extend them, so buy the number of classes you’ll actually use before the expiration date.
Canceling A Class
You can cancel online in your profile or by calling any local studio. If you don’t cancel your bike by 5 PM the night before class, you’ll be charged for it.
Using An HSA Or FSA
SoulCycle is HSA and FSA eligible through Truemed. Truemed says riders save an average of 30% on eligible memberships and class packs for 12 months. You take a short health survey, pay a $20 fee and, if you qualify, get a Letter of Medical Necessity. Then you pay for your classes without using your HSA or FSA at checkout and submit the purchase to your HSA or FSA administrator for reimbursement. Truemed says claims are typically paid out in one to two weeks.
Student Pricing And Group Rides
Students can sign up for student pricing through SheerID. It includes a discounted student rate for riding with your group and 20% off retail when you shop in-studio. It’s for students, so it only applies if you’re also enrolled.
If your school or district wants to ride together, SoulCycle’s corporate program lets you book a block of bikes for colleagues in an existing class, or host a private ride where the studio is all yours. A staff wellness group is the one to bring that to.
Who Qualifies
There’s no teacher verification at SoulCycle, because there’s no teacher discount. The free first shoe rental is for any first-time rider, and the HSA or FSA route is open to anyone who qualifies through Truemed.
