Regal doesn’t list a teacher discount, and everything here comes from regmovies.com, so it applies to Regal’s U.S. theatres. Its Programs page names student and military discounts and has no teacher entry, and the address you’d expect for a teacher page shows Regal’s own “Page Not Found” screen.
If you’re planning a movie night, the route we could confirm is cash back through Fluz, which lists 8% on Regal gift cards. Below is what Regal does offer, what ID.me says, and what we couldn’t confirm.
How To Get The Regal Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher program to apply for. Regal’s Programs page lists Regal Value Days, My Way Matinee, Monday Mystery Movies, Summer Movie Express, Student Discounts and Military Discounts. The address a teacher page would use shows a 404, and the help page covers student, senior and military pricing without mentioning teachers.
The one route we found that pays you back is a Fluz gift card. The button below goes to Fluz, which lists 8% cashback on Regal Cinemas gift cards.
What Regal Lists For Everyone
The promotions page says Regal Value Days give all members 25% off candy on Mondays and 50% off popcorn plus discounted movie tickets on Tuesdays. The page doesn’t mention teachers.
Regal’s student discount page says to stop by the box office, with a student ID presented at the time of ticket purchase. Its military discount page says to check with your local Regal location and offers military pricing to veterans, active and retired, at the box office with ID. The help page lists senior pricing for age 60 and over. A school staff ID isn’t named on any of them.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz’s Regal Cinemas page says to buy a gift card to earn 8% cashback at Regal Cinemas. That’s for buying a gift card, and rates change, so check the percentage before you buy.
ID.me’s Regal store page shows “Up to 2.0% cash back for Military” and “Up to 2.0% cash back,” and warns that use of coupons and promotional codes not on ID.me may void cash back. ID.me’s teacher page says “Yes, Regal has a Teachers discount and/or cash back offer!” Because the store page lists cash back and no teacher percentage, we don’t read that as a teacher ticket discount.
Rakuten’s address for Regal Cinemas loads its general page, titled “Rakuten: Shop. Get Cash Back. Repeat.” instead of a store page, and the TopCashback address we tried for Regal Cinemas returns a not found page.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We didn’t ask individual theatres, so we can’t say whether one would honor a school ID at the box office. We also didn’t buy a Fluz gift card, so we can’t tell you how it works at the ticket counter or online, or whether the 8% holds when you buy.
