What it lists isn’t tied to teachers: a membership that gets Premium Members 10% off almost everything in Paper Source stores for $39.99 a year, and a free Rewards tier that earns stamps toward a $5 reward. If you’re picking up stationery for your classroom or a gift for a colleague, it helps to know what Paper Source lists for shoppers in general and which route pays you back on an online order. We’ve put Paper Source’s own wording first, then the cash back.
How To Get The Paper Source Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher discount to claim, and we found no teacher verification step. We read Paper Source’s FAQ, membership page and coupons page, and none of them states a teacher or educator discount. The gifts for teachers collection is a shopping page of gifts for teachers, and it opens with “Let them know how much you appreciate them with the best gifts that teachers actually want including cool posters,” so it’s gift ideas rather than a discount for your own purchases.

What Anyone Can Get In Paper Source Stores
The FAQ says Premium Members receive 10% off all qualifying purchases in Paper Source stores, as well as in Barnes & Noble stores and bn.com. The membership page compares two tiers, and its yearly cost row reads FREE for Rewards and $39.99/year for Premium. It says membership is available in Paper Source stores, Barnes & Noble stores and on bn.com, and to ask an associate or bookseller to enroll you.
Both tiers earn stamps: 1 stamp for every $10 spent in a single transaction on eligible items, and once you have 10 stamps they convert to a $5 reward issued by the end of the next day. Rewards don’t expire unless you cancel your account, and stamps don’t expire unless your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months or you cancel.
Memberships are accepted at all Barnes & Noble and Paper Source stores and on bn.com, but the page says they’re currently not usable on papersource.com. It adds, “Membership benefits will be coming to papersource.com soon!” Nothing on these pages ties the membership to teachers.
Offers On The Coupons Page
The coupons page lists 25% off select holiday boxed stationery cards and sets, no code needed. That offer is valid on papersource.com and the page prints its start and end dates, so look at them before you plan the order. A separate in-store offer is buy one boxed holiday stationery set and get another qualifying set 50% off, and it has its own printed dates too.
Other offers on the page include 20% off your entire purchase of greeting cards when you buy 5 or more, for individual greeting cards only (custom cards aren’t included, and it’s online only), and 10% off for new subscribers who sign up for SMS alerts. Free standard shipping applies to orders of $60 or more, to online purchases only, and it excludes brands and products sold only in stores. The FAQ also describes a Bulk Discount Program with discounted pricing at certain quantities on regular price, solid color Paper Source items in the specific product categories.
The page says Paper Source reserves the right to modify or cancel any of these offers at any time, and that online sales and promotions may differ from those offered in stores.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback’s Paper Source page lists 5% cash back. Its terms say Cash Back is calculated only on the item(s) price and doesn’t include taxes, shipping or other fees, and that to be eligible for Cash Back on all products you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart. If it fails to track, you can submit a Missing Cash Back Claim within 100 days of your order. The page also lists a 25% off Boxed Holiday Cards deal with the 5% Cash Back, and it lists use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback as an exclusion.
Fluz’s Paper Source page lists 1.5% cashback at Paper Source with a Fluz virtual card, and its FAQ says you verify your account by completing identity verification (KYC) and link a bank account to fund purchases. Rakuten’s Paper Source addresses load its general page instead of a store page. Rates change, so read the number on the portal before you pay. You can start from our TopCashback page or Fluz page.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Paper Source’s pages don’t say whether a store associate can give a teacher a discount, and we didn’t contact a store, so we can’t speak to what happens at the register. None of the three pages we read mentions Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
We didn’t join the membership or place an order, which means we haven’t seen stamps post to an account or watched cash back track on a Paper Source purchase.
