Outdoor Voices does not have a teacher discount. ID.me, which lists hundreds of brands’ community offers, states directly that it is not aware of one from Outdoor Voices. The real way to save on an order right now is 2% cash back through Rakuten, open to any shopper.
Outdoor Voices is an activewear brand founded by Tyler Haney, known for its muted color palette and its “recreation” branding, built around everyday movement rather than competitive sport. It sells leggings, shorts, tops, and outerwear through its own website and a small number of stores. See what else is open to teachers in the clothing and accessories discounts.
How To Get The Outdoor Voices Teacher Discount
There is nothing to verify into. ID.me’s own listing for the brand states it plainly: it is not aware that Outdoor Voices offers a Teachers discount. That is the same direct, checkable language ID.me uses across its whole directory rather than a vague “nothing found,” and it means there is no ID-gated teacher rate to look for on outdoorvoices.com right now.
What is confirmed is a cash-back rate open to anyone, teacher or not, through Rakuten: 2% back on an Outdoor Voices order after signing up for a free account and starting your shopping trip through Rakuten’s link. It is not a teacher benefit specifically, but it is a real, working way to get something back on an order you were already planning to make.
The mechanics are the same as any cash-back portal: create a free Rakuten account, search for Outdoor Voices once you are signed in, and click through to outdoorvoices.com from Rakuten’s own page rather than typing the address in directly. Shop normally from there. Rakuten tracks the purchase against your account and pays the cash back out later, on its own schedule, rather than taking anything off the price you see at checkout.
Q&A
Does Outdoor Voices offer a discount to any other community group, like military or students?
That was not checked as part of this research. This page only confirms what ID.me shows for Teachers specifically.
Is the Rakuten cash back the same as a discount at checkout?
No. It is paid out separately, through your Rakuten account, rather than taken off the price when you pay.
Does the 2% rate apply to items already on sale?
Rakuten generally calculates cash back on what you actually pay, including sale items, though exclusions can change, so check Rakuten’s own listing at the time you shop.
Could Outdoor Voices add a teacher discount later?
It is possible. ID.me’s listings reflect current partnerships and change as brands join or drop off, so this page gets rechecked and updated if that happens.
Is there a student discount instead, since the brand skews younger?
That is a separate question from what this page checked, which was specifically the Teachers community on ID.me.
How long does Rakuten cash back take to show up?
It is not instant. Rakuten posts purchases to your account after the merchant confirms the order, which commonly takes a few days, and the balance becomes payable after a further waiting period tied to the store’s own return window.

Confirmed against ID.me’s own Outdoor Voices listing, which states directly that it is not aware of a Teachers offer. More clothing and accessories discounts for teachers are listed if this one did not pan out.
