It also says group lunch options at the Safari Camp Grill are available on request, and it suggests asking about the classroom set of Adventure Guidebooks, which are meant for a pre- or post-visit learning experience.
What The Field Trip Program Covers
The one perk the page puts a name on is the Education Bonus: all students receive one free bag of animal feed. Everything else, including what each student pays, comes from your conversation with the coordinator, because the page doesn’t print rates.

Visiting On Your Own

The FAQ says only coupons with online codes can be redeemed during the online purchase, and any other coupon or discount has to be applied at ticket purchase when you arrive.
Plan a long day. The FAQ says it generally takes an hour to an hour and a half to drive through once, and you can drive through as many times as you like. It suggests allowing at least five hours for the visit, lunch at the Safari Camp Grill included. You explore in your own vehicle, though the ranch’s safari vehicles are available if you’d rather take a guided tour. Mornings are better, and the FAQ says to arrive closer to 9 a.m. to miss the busiest times on holidays, in summer and on weekends. Once you leave through the main gates your ticket expires, so a trip into town for lunch means buying admission again.
Bringing your own lunch is allowed, too. The FAQ says barbecuing isn’t permitted, and the covered picnic pavilion and the picnic tables under the oak trees are first come, first served. It also says the ranch stays open in the rain.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The Educational Adventures page doesn’t give a price per student, a minimum group size or a booking deadline, and neither it nor the FAQ says how a school bus is handled in the drive-thru. The FAQ says visitors explore in their own vehicles, so ask the coordinator what the ranch recommends for a class. We didn’t find a teacher or educator discount on either page.
