The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Connecticut provides an array of educational programs for teachers and students of all ages. These include seven STEM-oriented classroom sessions, two story times for preschoolers, as well as a hands-on boat cruise to explore marine life on Long Island Sound.

Experience an engaging cross-curricular tour led by an expert Aquarium educator through its exhibits and loaner boxes in downtown St. Pete. Participants will take home a curriculum guide to use in the classroom as well as on future visits to the aquarium.

A virtual tour of the aquarium’s exhibits and focus on our most captivating animals will enliven a discussion about food chains and encourage students to draw their own conclusions about adaptations predators and prey have made for survival. This 50-minute program can be tailored to your grade level or added as an extension to an already existing class.
