Margaritaville Lake Lanier, situated outside Atlanta in Georgia, is an immensely popular visitor and local spot. Boasting over 700 miles of shoreline and more than 134,000 visitors each year, the lake ranks among one of the world’s most visited bodies of water. Unfortunately, due to its popularity it has also been responsible for multiple drowning deaths; thus prompting management at its waterpark to prohibit swimmers from entering its shore area near beaches in order to prevent future tragedies from recurrence – much to many returning visitors’ dismay!
Bucky Perry, Vice President of Margaritaville Waterparks and Resorts, provided some details about what will be done prior to full summer opening, such as making the wave pool shallower and adding different wave patterns. Furthermore, LandShark Bar & Grill will reintroduce their splash bucket as well as bring back Aquatic Adventure Wibit Attraction for additional entertainment and attractions.
Popular lakeside attraction will also offer its annual summer programming, featuring sudsy foam parties, Wibit water obstacle course, white sand beach, live music performances and restaurants including LandShark Bar & Grill. Visitors can also experience Georgia’s largest wave pool Wild Waves pool for fun activities for every age and slide options like Raging River to heart-pounding rides Cat 4, Triple Threat and Intimidator slides for their pleasure.
