If you’re picking out a bag for school, the part worth slowing down on is the fine print. TopCashback and Rakuten both have rules about coupon codes, and both draw a line at the number of items in an order.
How To Get The Kate Spade Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount to claim. Kate Spade’s Promo Codes and FAQ pages don’t mention teachers or educators in our read of them, and ID.me’s Kate Spade teacher page says it isn’t aware that Kate Spade US offers Teachers discounts.
The route that does pay is cash back. TopCashback’s Kate Spade page says you can get up to 20% of the price back with its Kate Spade New York Cash Back offers, which was the highest of the three we checked. The button below goes there.
What Each Cash Back Source Says
TopCashback lists these exclusions: the purchase or redemption of a Kate Spade New York gift card, employee purchases, purchases identified as reseller activity, purchases with item quantities greater than 2, and use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback. It also says cash back is calculated only on the item price and doesn’t include taxes, shipping or other fees.
Rakuten lists 2% Cash Back for kate spade new york. Its terms say cash back isn’t available on gift cards, employee purchases, face masks, or orders deemed by kate spade new york to be used for reselling purposes. It also isn’t available on orders with 3 or more items, and using coupon codes that aren’t listed on Rakuten will void cash back.
An order of two items stays under both the TopCashback and the Rakuten limit. A bigger one may not earn cash back from either.
Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Kate Spade with a Fluz virtual card, and its offer terms say the offer is valid only at official store locations. We couldn’t tell from that page whether Kate Spade’s website counts.
The Other Offers We Found
Both Kate Spade pages carry a banner that reads Enjoy 15% off your first order when you sign up for email & SMS! TopCashback’s page lists a deal along the same lines, 15% Off Your First Purchase When You Sign Up for Texts.
Students have a separate 15%. UNiDAYS’ partner page for Kate Spade is titled Kate Spade New York 15% Discount – UNiDAYS Student Discount. TopCashback says Kate Spade offers students a 15% discount via UNiDAYS, that verification through UNiDAYS is required, and that cash back is ineligible if you use the student discount. We didn’t find a version of it for teachers.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The Promo Codes & Discounts section of Kate Spade’s FAQ didn’t display its answers when we looked, so we couldn’t read them. We also couldn’t tell whether the 15% sign-up offer can be used together with cash back from any of the three, or how a marked-down bag is treated by their cash back pages. TopCashback’s 20% is an “up to” figure, so look at the rate on the page you click through from before you buy.
