Marriott provides special teacher rates at all of its worldwide properties while IHG and Wyndham also provide government discounts to teachers; details may differ depending on your region.
Other businesses that provide discounts to teachers include theme parks, which often give free tickets for educators and their families to enter the park – for instance SeaWorld Florida offers unlimited admission until Aug 31st 2022; LEGOLAND and Universal Studios both give discounts to educators on park admission tickets.
Car rental companies also provide teachers with discounts to offset the expense of rentals; National Education Association members can save up to 25% with Car Rental Discounts for Educators, while home-swapping apps have been designed specifically for teachers wanting to exchange homes during school breaks.
